MESSAGE FROM THE PRODUCER

Grant

Founded in 1962, Tel-Air Interests is the Southeast's oldest private film/video production company, based in Hollywood, Florida. President Grant Gravitt Jr. highlights the company's early focus on engaging content and controlling narratives, a principle that remains pivotal today.

Tel-Air emerged out of a need for local television producers and quickly expanded into various projects, including CBS's Miss Universe and Miss USA Pageants, Miami Vice, Golden Girls, NASCAR documentaries, PGA Golf, Sears Roebuck, Samsonite, Ford, General Motors and the iconic Timex campaign featuring Lolita the Killer Whale.

Over the years, Tel-Air has worked on a wide range of projects, including government commissions, music specials, political campaigns, live sports programming, and pioneering televised murder trials. The company has collaborated with prominent clients such as PBS, NBC, CBS, IMG, National Geographic and IBM, and has developed and produced notable productions like the Emmy Award Winning Documentary Jockey. The company recently launched Tel-Air Films — a non-profit arm to provide services to other philanthropic organizations and make productions of Inspirational, Motivational, Educational and Historical content.
